ICU Travel Nurse Job Details
- Location: Boise, Idaho (83712), with assignments in Meridian and Nampa
- Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Start Date: January 12, 2026
- End Date: April 13, 2026
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekends as needed
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Setting: Acute care, ICU Float Pool
- Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Idaho or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
- Ability to float between ICU units at Boise, Meridian, and Nampa hospitals
- Proficient in titrating drips and interpreting cardiac monitors
- Adaptable to floating mid-shift and supporting various critical care unit needs
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Boise, Idaho
ICU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
- Float between multiple ICU units and facilities as assigned, including 1:1 sitter assignments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
- Titrate IV drips and manage advanced life support equipment
- Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
- Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
- Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education as required
