ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Boise, Idaho (83712), with assignments in Meridian and Nampa
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekends as needed
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Setting: Acute care, ICU Float Pool
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Idaho or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• Previous travel nurse experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Ability to float between ICU units at Boise, Meridian, and Nampa hospitals
• Proficient in titrating drips and interpreting cardiac monitors
• Adaptable to floating mid-shift and supporting various critical care unit needs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of Boise, Idaho

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in ICU settings
• Float between multiple ICU units and facilities as assigned, including 1:1 sitter assignments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR
• Titrate IV drips and manage advanced life support equipment
• Maintain professional communication with patients, families, and healthcare staff
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
• Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical education as required
