Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Johnstown, PA 15905 (Western Pennsylvania healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2100-$2250
• Shift: 8-hour varied day shifts (9am-5pm, 11am-7pm, 1pm-9pm, 3pm-11pm); every other weekend and on-call required (1-2 times per week, 8-hour increments)
• Facility Type: Level 1 Trauma Center, 22-bed Operating Room, 1:1 patient ratio
• Electronic Health Record: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Blue (provided)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (perioperative nursing)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI/HWC
• Ability to work varied shifts, weekends, and participate in on-call rotation
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania nursing clearances (Child Abuse, State Police, FBI Fingerprinting) prior to start
• Must reside 60+ miles from Johnstown, PA to qualify as a travel nurse
• Preferred: Charge nurse, Level 1 Trauma, and robotic surgery experience

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality perioperative and intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients of all ages
• Circulate and/or scrub on diverse surgical cases: orthopedics, gynecology, OB, plastics, general surgery, cardiovascular, neurosurgery, urology, breast, and podiatry
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to emergency situations as part of the Level 1 Trauma team
• Float to other hospital units as needed
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EPIC EHR
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage for off-shifts and weekends
