Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Unit: Operating Room (OR) – Surgical Services
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 6, 2026
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour shifts; varied start times (9am-5pm, 11am-7pm, 1pm-9pm, 3pm-11pm); must be willing to accept on-call and off-shifts, including weekend daylight shifts
• Call Requirements: Yes, 1-2 times per week (8-hour call increments)
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Electronic Health Record: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Blue (provided)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania RN license required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR RN) experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• CPI/HWC certification or willingness to obtain
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania healthcare screenings and clearances prior to start (including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, State Police Clearance, and fingerprinting)
• Willingness to take call and work off-shifts as scheduled
• Preferred: Charge nurse, Level 1 Trauma, and robotic surgery experience

OR RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients of all ages in a 22-bed Operating Room
• Assist with a wide range of surgical procedures: Orthopedics, Gynecology, OB, Plastics, General Surgery, Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Urology, Breast, and Podiatry
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EHR system
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergent surgical needs
• Follow hospital policies, infection control protocols, and patient safety standards
• Demonstrate flexibility by floating to other nursing units as needed
