• Location: Everett, Massachusetts (02149) – Greater Boston area
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg West 3 Unit
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (no block scheduling)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,310–$2,470

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (NURSYS verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry RN experience
• Previous travel nurse experience required (first-time travelers not eligible)
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• Two recent manager or supervisor references in Med/Surg or Telemetry
• Completed skills checklist for Med/Surg nursing
• Valid driver’s license with matching address
• Ability to float to other hospital units as needed
• Willingness to work every other major holiday
• Experience with diverse patient populations preferred; fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, or Haitian Creole is a plus

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care on the Med/Surg West 3 unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms every 4 hours (unit-based monitors, no central monitor tech)
• Accurately document patient care and progress in EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other nursing units as required to support hospital operations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive clinical environment for patients and staff
• Comply with all hospital policies, infection control, and safety protocols
