• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1440 - $1540

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic charting preferred
• Ability to float to other units as needed within your clinical skillset
• Strong emergency care clinical skills, including chest tube management and intubation

ER RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Emergency Room
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Respond rapidly and efficiently to emergency situations
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document all patient care in Cerner EMR
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
• Float to other hospital units as required within your nursing scope
