ICU Registered Nurse Job Details
- Location: Lebanon, NH 03756 (New Hampshire healthcare jobs)
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Unit: Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) – 10 beds
- Duration: 13-week contract (1/19/2026 – 4/18/2026)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
- Float: May float to Surgical ICU (SICU) and other critical care units
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2100-$2250
Qualifications for ICU Registered Nurse
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (NH or compact state)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of recent critical care nursing experience
- Proficient in advanced hemodynamic monitoring, intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring, and ventilator management
- Experience with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medication administration
- Skilled in assisting with line insertion and maintenance (PA lines, ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, EVD)
- Strong post-surgical care and waveform interpretation skills
ICU Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in the NCCU, SICU, and other critical care units
- Monitor and manage patients with neurological, neurosurgical, and complex medical conditions (stroke, brain/spine surgery, meningitis, encephalitis, neuromuscular disorders)
- Perform advanced assessments and interventions, including hemodynamic and ICP monitoring
- Administer and titrate critical care medications (pressors, inotropes)
- Assist with procedures such as line insertions, drain and tube maintenance, and post-operative care
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Accurately document all patient care and interventions
