Home Health RN Job Details

Location: Asheville, NC – Franklin/Macon County (North Carolina nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/22/2025 – 3/23/2026)
Shift: 12-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
Hours per Week: 36
Estimated Weekly Salary: $1360–$1460
Setting: Home Health / Homecare
Patient Load: 5-6 patients per day
Documentation System: HCHB (Homecare Homebase)
Dress Code: Navy blue or navy/white scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent home health or hospice nursing experience
Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license for patient home visits
Strong clinical assessment and electronic documentation skills
Ability to work independently and manage a daily homecare caseload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Homecare RN Responsibilities

Deliver skilled nursing care to home health and hospice patients in Franklin/Macon County
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications, perform wound care, and monitor patient progress
Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques
Document all care provided using the HCHB (Homecare Homebase) system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
Ensure compliance with agency policies and healthcare regulatory requirements
