Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: York, Pennsylvania 17403
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:00 - 16:30), alternating days off
• Call: 1-2 call days per week; 30-minute response time required
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd or 4th weekend (Friday 4:30pm – Monday 6:00am)
• Holiday Coverage: At least 1 major holiday expected
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,370 - $2,530

CVOR Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) nursing experience
• Open heart surgery and scrub experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (no license hits accepted)
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to take call with 30-minute response time
• Must be able to work at least one major holiday during assignment
• Facility is tobacco and fragrance free

Key Responsibilities for CVOR RN

• Deliver expert nursing care in the Cardiac Operating Room, including open heart procedures
• Scrub and circulate during cardiovascular surgical cases
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes as required
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Float to other hospital units as needed and provide care for COVID-19 patients if required
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, including tobacco and fragrance-free requirements
