Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Length: 14 weeks (January 12, 2026 – April 20, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (06:30 – 17:00)
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1840-$1970
- Healthcare Setting: Main Operating Room (16 ORs, average 35 daily cases)
- Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
- Scrub Color: Provided by facility
- Charting System: Epic
- Equipment: 2 DaVinci XI Robots, Pyxis medication management
- Location: Augusta, Georgia 30901
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or Compact State (required at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
- Experience circulating and scrubbing in the OR
- Proficiency in a variety of surgical procedures: general, neuro, ortho, robotics, urology, vascular, colorectal, and more
- Ability to work occasional weekends and take call (7-8 calls per 6-week schedule, plus 1 weekend call and 1-2 weekend shifts per contract)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Two supervisory references (manager or above preferred)
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver perioperative nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-volume OR environment
- Circulate and scrub for a broad spectrum of surgical cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize Epic for electronic charting and Pyxis for medication administration
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Participate in orientation and complete all required training modules
- Demonstrate scheduling flexibility, including working major holidays as needed
- Float to other units as required (rare)
