ICU RN Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (December 15, 2025 – March 15, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), 3rd Floor
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Float to other units within skillset as needed
• Location: Rock Hill, SC 29732 – South Carolina nursing jobs
• On-Site Position

ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – South Carolina or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Ability to work every other weekend and float as needed
• Strong critical thinking, clinical assessment, and communication skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery processes
• Float to other hospital units within your clinical skillset as needed
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
