Travel Nursing Job Details

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,170–$2,320 per week
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Infusion Center (17 beds)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, Days (9:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Oncology RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (travel RN experience required)
• Active Wisconsin or Compact State RN License (required at submission)
• BLS certification (required)
• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) and ONS (Oncology Nursing Society) certifications (preferred)
• Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system (preferred)
• Clinical experience with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficient in infusion therapy, blood product administration, and supportive oncology care
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses not accepted

Oncology RN Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy infusions, blood products, and supportive care treatments to oncology patients
• Perform lab draws from ports (central lines) and manage all infusion-related procedures
• Monitor patient responses, assess side effects, and provide patient education on cancer treatments
• Document nursing care and interventions accurately using the Epic charting system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, physical therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, and social services
• Maintain infection control standards and ensure safe biohazard waste disposal
• Obtain and record vital signs, patient histories, and allergy information
• Deliver compassionate nursing care to oncology and benign hematology patients
