- Facility: 225-bed specialty care hospital with Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, Brain & Spine, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Digestive Health, Bariatric Medicine & Weight Management, Women's Health, and Pediatrics
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Start Date: January 5, 2026
- End Date: April 6, 2026
- Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
- Shift: 12-Hour Nights (19:00-07:00)
- Hours per Week: 36
PCU Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Michigan or compact state
- Minimum 1 year of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or acute care RN experience
- BLS certification (AHA required)
- Ability to work night shifts
- Must reside at least 60 miles from Marquette to qualify for travel nurse jobs
PCU RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Monitor, assess, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions
- Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery processes, and health management
- Document patient care and clinical interventions accurately and in a timely manner
