Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Atlanta, GA 30329 (Georgia healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Setting: Heart Center CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: 10-hour days (Monday–Friday, 4 shifts/week, one day off)
• Shift Times: 6:45 AM – 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Call: Required (on-call rotation)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,290 - $2,450

CVOR RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia or compact state (Georgia nursing jobs)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• Pediatric cardiac nursing experience preferred
• Ability to pass a nicotine screening (nicotine-free healthcare facility)
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities for CVOR Registered Nurse

• Deliver skilled nursing care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room, assisting with complex cardiac surgical procedures
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment in the OR
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to emergencies
• Participate in required on-call rotation
• Accurately document all nursing care according to hospital policies and clinical standards
