Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158
• Assignment Type: Travel RN, On-Site
• Start Date: December 29, 2025
• End Date: March 30, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour shifts/week (Day/Evening: 07:00–17:00 or 12:30–23:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call: 4-5 times/month, including weekend call (about every 4th weekend)
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 40

PACU RN Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin or Compact State Registered Nurse License (required upon submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PACU RN experience and prior travel nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications (all required for healthcare jobs)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses not accepted
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to take call and work some weekends
• No latex allergy (facility cannot accommodate)

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia nursing care in a fast-paced PACU environment
• Monitor and assess patients recovering from surgical procedures (general, ortho, neuro, OB, and more)
• Administer medications, manage airways, and respond to emergencies
• Document patient care and coordinate using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, and pharmacy
• Maintain patient safety and infection control standards
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage
• Complete required orientation modules and training
