Key Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Hickory, North Carolina 28601
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing
• Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/5/2025 – End: 4/6/2025)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts (07:00–17:30), 4 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2100–$2250

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina (or compact state license for travel nurses)
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within six months of hire
• ASLS certification preferred
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred, especially in cardiac care or cath lab settings

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the cardiac cath lab, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical procedures
• Accurately document and monitor patient care, communicating patient status to the healthcare team, physicians, patients, and families
• Assist patients with daily living activities such as hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and elimination
• Coordinate patient care across disciplines, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and providing psychosocial support
• Assess and address the learning needs of patients and families, delivering education tailored to age, culture, and health condition
• Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of all patients in your care
