Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Corpus Christi, TX 78412 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Main Hospital – Operating Room (OR)
• Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026)
• Shift: 10-hour days (07:00 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1750–$1870
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• On-Call: Rotating every other weekend
• Scrubs: Provided

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas RN license or compact state license accepted)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience (OR nurse experience required)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech experience preferred)
• Strong clinical skills, high energy, and a motivated personality

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in a high-volume OR
• Assist with diverse surgical procedures: general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, trauma, neurosurgery, and spine
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, surgical technologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Meditech EMR
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule and provide weekend coverage as needed
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and dress code standards
