Travel Nursing Job Details
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
- Location: Brownwood, Texas (76801) – Texas nursing jobs
- Duration: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts/week (approx. 6:00am – 4:30pm; end time may vary)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2330–$2500
- On-Call: Required
- Weekend Coverage: Required (number of weekend shifts varies)
Cath Lab RN Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab Registered Nurse experience
- Active Texas RN License or Compact State RN License
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with MedHost and GE MacLab preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
- Must reside more than 150 miles from facility or in a metropolitan area
- Ability to complete required labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
- Facility drug screen required upon arrival (includes Marijuana)
Cath Lab RN Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for adult and geriatric patients
- Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, including STEMI, ACS, NSTEMI, PAD, CAD, and arrhythmia management
- Perform and monitor procedures such as RHC, LHC, ICD implants, pacemakers, Impella, balloon pump, IVUS, FFR, and Shockwave
- Administer and monitor procedural sedation, emergency medications, and thrombolytics
- Operate specialized equipment (MERGE HEMO, Philips X-Ray/IVUS, Penumbra)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, Pharmacy, Radiology, Rapid Response)
- Maintain accurate documentation using Allscripts and/or Altera charting systems
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
