ER Nurse Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Location: Harrison Township, NJ 08062
• Contract Length: 13-week nursing contract
• Hours per Week: 36 hours
• Shift: Includes every other weekend or 3 weekends per month, per department needs
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• On-Site Healthcare Position
• Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2090 - $2200

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• At least one completed travel nurse contract assignment
• High-volume, fast-paced ER experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact Nursing License
• Valid AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (all current at time of submission)
• Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO) accepted
• No block scheduling or special requests permitted

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced ER environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical interventions as prescribed
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Participate in required orientation, training, and ongoing nursing education
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
