Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Vero Beach, FL 32960 – A premier Florida healthcare destination with beautiful beaches and a relaxed lifestyle.
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 20, 2026
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 – 17:00)
• Hours per Week: 40
• On-Call: Evenings & weekends required
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Teaching Hospital
• Charting System: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Ceil Blue
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of recent Cath Lab RN experience (2 years preferred)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross ACLS and BLS certifications
• Proven experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, procedural sedation, and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Nicotine-free (negative cotinine test required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Successful completion of EKG and Pharmacology tests during orientation (2 attempts maximum)

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Monitor and manage procedural sedation and patient vital signs
• Interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias during procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other nursing units within scope as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation for evenings and weekends
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Maintain a safe, smoke-free, and patient-centered environment
