ER Registered Nurse Job Details

• Position: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER Float Pool)
• Location: Pennington, NJ 08534 (New Jersey nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department – Float to all 4 campuses
• Shifts per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights (7:00pm – 7:30am)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Schedule: Every other weekend & every other holiday required
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Scrub Color: Navy Blue
• Electronic Medical Record: Cerner
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• Pay Rate: $83.70/hr

ER Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience
• Active New Jersey or Compact Registered Nurse License required at time of submission
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale (current and valid)
• Ability to float between multiple hospital campuses
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

ER Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department across four campuses
• Assess, triage, and manage patients with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Adhere to hospital policies, including shift make-up requirements for any missed shifts
• Maintain compliance with required nursing certifications and licensure
