• Location: York, Pennsylvania (zip 17403) – Pennsylvania healthcare jobs
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (56 beds: 44 high acuity med surg, 12 IMCU)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (18:45 – 07:15), every other weekend and holidays
• Hours: 36 per week
• Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Pennsylvania (no license hits)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS and NIHSS certifications (AHA or ARC only)
• EPIC charting experience required
• ACLS certification preferred
• First-time travel nurses welcome
• 8-hour orientation (pre-start modules required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Tobacco and fragrance-free healthcare facility

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to adults and geriatrics in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and manage patients with pulmonary conditions (COPD, pneumonia, trach patients, high flow modalities), end-stage renal disease, CHF, stroke overflow, ETOH withdrawal, GI bleeding
• Utilize Epic for clinical charting and documentation
• Administer medications, manage cardiac drips (no titration), insulin drips (IMCU), and perform wound care
• Perform procedures: central line blood draws, chest tube management, colostomy care, feeding tube management, tracheostomy care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, social services, rapid response)
• Float to rehab or other hospital units as needed
• Participate in rapid response/code teams and follow isolation precautions
• Work every other weekend and holidays as scheduled
