• Location: Rock Island, Illinois (Quad Cities region)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED)
• Shift: 12-hour days, 10:00 AM start
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site
• Weekend Requirement: Friday, Saturday, Sunday rotation
• Electronic Medical Record: EPIC EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current certifications: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, De-escalation training
• Ability to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Taxable address more than 50 miles from Rock Island facility required
• Submission materials: updated resume/work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), RN license verification, copies of required certifications, at least 1 supervisory reference
• Proof of taxable address (driver’s license, utility bill, lease, mortgage, insurance statement, voter registration, bank statement, auto insurance, or tax return)
• First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply!

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and acute medical situations
• Accurately document patient care using EPIC EMR system
• Float to other local campuses within the same nursing discipline as needed
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
• Participate in required holiday and weekend rotations
