Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in Wyoming or compact/multi-state RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Wyoming
Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association required)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide direct, individualized nursing care to diverse patient populations following clinical nursing standards
Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse reactions
Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, post-treatment care, and home management
Monitor specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and accurately document patient information
Respond to life-saving situations using nursing protocols and standards
Assist physicians during examinations and treatments; perform procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts
Participate in discharge planning and patient education initiatives
Maintain concise, accurate, and timely documentation of all care provided
Perform other related duties as assigned
