Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a)
On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Prior travel nursing experience required
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must apply for Vermont RN license upon acceptance
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and AVADE or other nationally recognized de-escalation certification (Pro-Act, CPI, MOAB, etc.)
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Must have own vehicle (no public transportation available)
Ability to provide complete work history and account for employment gaps over 30 days
Local candidates not accepted

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department
Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and clinical support staff
Accurately document patient care in the Cerner EMR system
Participate in biweekly orientation and adhere to facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
