Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Voorhees, New Jersey (Zip: 08043) – Southern NJ, near Philadelphia
• Healthcare Setting: Level III High Risk Labor & Delivery Unit
• Job Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 4/20/2026)
• Nursing Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:00)
• Total Hours: 36 hours per week
• Open Positions: 2 Labor & Delivery RN jobs
• Scrubs: Provided by hospital

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2.5–3 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience (within the last 12 months)
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact Nursing License (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (must be valid for duration of assignment)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Ability to pass Dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing (PC only, 2 attempts permitted)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• First-time travel nurses welcome

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns in a Level III high-risk environment
• Monitor patients using continuous fetal and maternal monitoring systems
• Care for early inductions and antepartum patients in the High Risk OB (HROB) unit
• Float to High Risk OB unit and, as needed, to up to two nearby lower-volume hospitals (assignments within scope of practice; floating is uncommon)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC electronic health records
• Comply with all hospital policies, including fit testing and maintaining a clean-shaven appearance
• Complete orientation modules and required labs within 48 hours of signing
