• Position: Homecare Registered Nurse (Home Health RN) – Travel Assignment
• Location: Romney, WV 26757 (Potomac Highlands) — travel nursing job in West Virginia
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 12, 2026 – End: April 13, 2026)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours (Guaranteed 36 hours/week)
• Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days)
• Weekend Rotation: Every 3rd weekend
• On-Call: None
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,120 - $2,230
• Patient Caseload: Approximately 25 adult/geriatric patients per week
• EMR System: EPIC (experience preferred)
• Dress Code: Black scrubs

Qualifications (Required & Preferred)

• Minimum 2 years of home health nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (Homecare RN / Home Health RN)
• Active RN license in West Virginia or Compact RN license (travel nursing friendly)
• BLS (AHA) required
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for home visits
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient care preferred
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and organizational skills
• EPIC EMR experience highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in their homes (home health nursing)
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized homecare plans
• Coordinate care and communicate with interdisciplinary team members (PT, OT, SLP, HH tech, Social Work)
• Document visits, interventions, and progress in EPIC according to agency and Medicare documentation standards
• Teach patients and families homecare procedures, medication management, and disease education
• Participate in scheduled weekend rotation (every 3rd weekend)
