• Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts 02601 (Cape Cod)
• Job Type: Travel Nursing
• Start Date: January 20, 2026
• End Date: April 18, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and holiday

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• At least 1 year of ER travel nurse experience preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification (required)
• Successful completion of Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams
• Proficient in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
• Strong communication skills in English
• TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications preferred
• De-escalation certification course completion preferred

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Direct and guide patient care and teaching for ancillary staff
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and documentation
• Develop care plans and manage discharge planning
• Communicate effectively with allied healthcare providers
• Serve as charge nurse and resource for ER nursing staff
• Participate in staff meetings, mandatory programs, and professional development
• Follow safety and infection control protocols
• Deliver service excellence to patients, families, and colleagues
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor
