ER Nurse Job Details

• Location: Harrison Township, NJ (08062) – Southern New Jersey healthcare jobs
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Hours per Week: 36
• Hourly Pay Rate: $86.49
• Shift: Every other weekend or 3 weekends per month (based on department needs)
• Holiday Requirement: None
• Start Date: January 12, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) nursing experience
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Previous travel nursing experience (at least one completed contract assignment)
• High-volume, fast-paced ED experience preferred
• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact State License
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (valid and not expiring within 30 days)
• Ability to complete full orientation as scheduled
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off (RTO); no block scheduling or special requests

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a busy Emergency Department
• Utilize advanced clinical skills to assess, triage, and manage acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely nursing documentation
• Participate in required orientation, training, and ongoing education
• Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols
