Travel Nursing Job Details
- Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
- Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
- Healthcare Setting: Level 1 Trauma Center, 18-bed Operating Room
- Start Date: January 26, 2026
- End Date: April 27, 2026
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Nursing Shifts: Day/Evening shifts (8, 10, and 12-hour shifts between 06:30 – 23:30)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Call Hours: M-F 21:00-06:30; Sat/Sun 06:30-19:00 and 19:00-06:30
- Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
- Surgical Procedures Per Day: 45-50
Registered Nurse Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Level 1 Trauma Center and extensive scrub experience required
- Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license)
- BCLS certification
- EPIC charting experience
- Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Ability to float to different units as needed
- Two professional references (one from a manager/director or leadership role)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- Preferred: Experience with ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns
OR RN Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care during surgical procedures: General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant
- Circulate and scrub, focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases
- Collaborate with the surgical healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC
- Participate in scheduled call coverage
- Float to other units within the organization as needed
