Nursing Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), rotating weekends

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state
Minimum 1 year of recent Medical/Surgical nursing experience
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Permanent address must be at least 50 miles from facility

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
Float to other hospital units as needed to support patient care
