Dallas Nursing Job Details

Location: Dallas, Texas (75230) – Texas nursing jobs
Assignment Length: 13-week travel contract
Start Date: November 5, 2025 (Tuesday start required)
End Date: February 4, 2026
Shift: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
Hours per Week: 40
On Call: Yes (call required unless working weekends or nights)
Setting: Main Operating Room (30 ORs + 3 Litho Suites)
Dress Code: RN royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Texas RN license preferred
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
Experience in general surgery and robotic surgery required
Flexible, positive attitude and strong clinical skills
Neuro and transplant nursing experience preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in a busy, advanced operating room setting
Assist with surgical procedures: General, GYN, Urology (open & robotic), Orthopedics (no spine), Plastics, Pediatric General, Pediatric Ortho
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team including surgeons, anesthesia techs, CSTs, and PCTs
Operate advanced surgical technology including DaVinci, Mako, and Rosa robots
Participate in on-call rotation and provide coverage during holidays as needed
Maintain precise documentation using Meditech EMR system
