Cardiac Cath Lab RN Job Details

  • Location: Tulsa, OK 74133
  • Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
  • Shift: 5x8-hour day shifts (07:00 – 15:30)
  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Call: Required, 7-9 shifts per month, including 1 weekend per month (Fri-Sun)
  • Unit: 3-room Cardiac Cath Lab, 15 procedures/day
  • Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma or compact state (required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
  • Electrophysiology (EP) nursing experience required
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications
  • Experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures (IMPELLA, IABP, ROTAPRO, LASER)
  • Ability to float to prep/recovery and CT for sedation as needed
  • First-time travel nurses welcome!

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including CAD, ACS, STEMI/NSTEMI, arrhythmias, heart failure, and vascular disease
  • Assist with procedures: PCI, coronary angiography, right/left heart catheterization, electrophysiology studies, pacemaker/ICD insertion, ablations, and more
  • Monitor patients during procedural sedation and manage dysrhythmias
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and social services
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage as scheduled
  • Float to related clinical units as needed within scope of practice
