• Assignment Type: Travel RN
• Healthcare Setting: Cath Lab (Unit 5200-5016)
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call and weekend shifts required
• Patient Population: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Daily Census: 25-30 cardiac cases/day
• Charting System: Epic EMR

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma or Compact Registered Nurse license (required at submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficient with Epic charting system
• Skilled in both Electrophysiology (EP) and Cath Lab procedures
• Ability to take call and work weekends/holidays as needed
• Willingness to float to similar clinical units

Registered Nurse Responsibilities – Cardiac Care

• Deliver expert nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, cardiac ablation, pacemaker insertion, stent placement, and other Cath Lab procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, including sedation administration and recovery
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and provide weekend coverage
• Follow infection prevention and radiation safety protocols
• Support a safe, patient-centered environment in a fast-paced Cath Lab setting
