• Unit: Medical Surgical Unit (Med/Surg)

• End Date: March 21, 2026
• Duration: 13-week contract
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM), Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends
• Compliance with healthcare onboarding requirements (health screenings, background check, competency testing, and required immunizations)

Med/Surg RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Medical Surgical Unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Administer medications, treatments, and clinical procedures as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
