• Healthcare Setting: Level 4 Trauma Center – Emergency Services
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• On-Site Nursing Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Successful completion of clinical and skills assessments
• Completion of all required onboarding health and background screenings (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB, Varicella, Tdap, drug screening)
• Professional references and updated nursing resume

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a Level 4 trauma Emergency Department
• Assess, triage, and prioritize emergency patient care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment
• Educate and support patients and their families throughout the care process
