• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 1/12/2026 – End: 4/13/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Number of Beds: 44
• Block Scheduling: Allowed
• Floating: No floating required
• Call: No call required
• Scrubs: Navy

ER Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or multistate compact license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (2 years preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (ARC/AHA only)
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to work every other weekend and every other holiday as needed
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department
• Utilize the Nursing Process in compliance with the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in patient care planning and delivery
• Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Supervise assigned healthcare personnel delivering patient care
