Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Biddeford, ME 04005 (Southern Maine healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 18, 2026 – End: April 18, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry Unit (56 beds)
• Nursing Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Call Requirements: 2 x 12-hour call shifts during contract
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (days), 1:5-6 (nights)
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS certification (required)
• ACLS certification (preferred)
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Completion of required education modules (provided via LMS)
• Strong teamwork, work ethic, and accountability

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient information in Epic EMR
• Float to other Med/Surg units as required
• Participate in scheduled call shifts
• Maintain professional appearance (scrubs: any color, clean and professional attire)
