ER RN Job Details

• Location: Corsicana, TX 75110 (Texas healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Level IV Trauma Emergency Department
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: January 5, 2026 – End: April 6, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Number of Beds: 14
• Parking: Convenient hospital parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Level IV Trauma nursing experience preferred
• Experience with MedHost-EDIS EMR system is a plus
• Ability to wear scrubs in any solid color
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and emergent medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Accurately document patient care in MedHost-EDIS EMR
• Maintain a safe and clean clinical environment
• Educate and support patients and their families
