Telemetry RN Job Details

• Location: Olathe, Kansas (Zip: 66061) – Kansas nursing jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks – travel nurse contract
• Start Date: January 18, 2026
• Setting: Telemetry Unit (4N Cardiac) – cardiac care
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend required
• On-call: None
• Floating: Float to all acute care units as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Kansas RN license – Registered Nurse jobs in Kansas
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience – telemetry nurse
• Proficiency with TR Bands post-procedure, cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Ability to attend required orientation and training sessions
• Nicotine-free facility compliance

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry (Cardiac) Unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and manage post-procedure TR Bands
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to other acute care units as needed
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to ensure compliance with facility standards
