Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Columbus, OH 43203
• Unit: Tower 9 Surgical Musculoskeletal (27 beds)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (1/26/2026 – 4/27/2026)
• Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Setting: Adult Med/Surg Telemetry
• Float: Required within units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Call: No call required
• Weekend Coverage: Weekdays and some weekends

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Active Registered Nurse license (compact or Ohio state license required at submission)
• Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skills required: IV start, telemetry monitoring, intermediate care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, peripheral line care, isolation precautions, rapid response/code team participation
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
• Must provide two professional references (one from a manager/director or formal leader)

Nursing Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with musculoskeletal infections, orthopedic trauma, and surgical needs
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, manage IVs, and respond to rapid response/code situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC
• Adhere to infection control and isolation precautions
• Participate in wound care procedures such as Veriflo and wound vac treatments
• Provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families
