ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience in Cardiology and Neurology
NIH Stroke Scale Certification (NIHSS)
Experience in Level 1 trauma hospital preferred
Ability to support Cath/Lab PACU surge needs
Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiac and neuro patients in the ICU
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Support Cath/Lab PACU during increased patient volume
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and healthcare regulations
Deliver compassionate support to patients and families
