Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU), step-down, or acute care setting
BLS certification (required)
ACLS certification (preferred)
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
Administer medications and perform prescribed treatments
Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
Maintain a safe and supportive clinical environment for patients and staff
