Arizona Nursing Job Details

• Location: Flagstaff, AZ 86001 (Northern Arizona healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: January 12, 2026
• End Date: April 13, 2026
• Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (18:00 - 06:30), including weekends
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed 40 hours/week; facility may call off up to 6 times per assignment)
• Healthcare Setting: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital
• Scrubs: Provided for PACU RNs
• Charting System: Cerner
• Parking: Free on-site parking

PACU RN Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience (first-time travel nurses welcome)
• Active, unrestricted Arizona RN license or valid compact nursing license (pending submission accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• CPAN certification preferred
• Experience caring for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, geriatrics
• Ability to float to TASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) and outpatient hospital settings
• Experience in Level I and II Trauma healthcare environments required
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled

PACU Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to diverse patient populations in inpatient and ambulatory settings
• Monitor and manage patients during Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Float to TASC (Ambulatory Surgical Center) and other hospital units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV, PT, RT, pharmacy, and more
• Utilize Cerner for accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Adhere to facility quality standards and patient safety protocols, including medication administration
• Participate in orientation and complete required training modules during the first week
