  • End Date: April 26, 2026
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks
  • Shift: 3x12 hour night shifts (18:45 – 07:15)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • On-Site Position

Qualifications – Orthopedic Registered Nurse

  • Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start)
  • BLS certification (AHA required)
  • Minimum 2 years of medical surgical nursing experience
  • Orthopedic nursing experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
  • Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed within competency

Responsibilities – Orthopedic RN

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients on a busy Ortho-Spine unit
  • Care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical/lumbar/thoracic surgeries, fractures, trauma, limb preservation, wound care, and medical overflow
  • Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking and communication skills in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and quality care
