Key Job Details – OR RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Reno, NV 89502 (Nevada healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 1/26/2026 – End: 4/26/2026)
• Facility Type: Same Day Surgery Center, 8 Operating Rooms
• Shifts: 4x10 hour day shifts/week, variable start times, no weekends (late coverage may be required)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Patient Population: Pediatrics, adults, geriatrics

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Nevada RN license (required for Reno nursing jobs)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience
• Clinical proficiency in surgical procedures: General, Orthopedics (Small Joints, Total Shoulders), ENT, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Plastics, Gynecology, Dental, Oral Maxillofacial, and minimal Endoscopy
• Ability to float to other units within competency level

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver optimal patient care throughout the perioperative process using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide comprehensive nursing services to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, as well as their families and caregivers
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve best patient outcomes
• Maintain high standards of safety and quality in all aspects of clinical support
• Demonstrate adaptability by floating to other units and providing late coverage as needed
• Pick up one additional shift per 4-week schedule and be available for major holidays as required
