• Location: Biddeford, ME 04005 (Maine nursing jobs)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN contract
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry (Medical Surgical Telemetry patients)
• Facility Size: 56 beds
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Duration: 13-week travel nursing contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Hours: Varies
• Call Requirements: 2 twelve-hour call shifts per 13-week contract
• EMR: Epic
• Scrub Color: Any color, clean and professional attire

RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ability to float to other Medical Surgical units as needed
• Strong accountability, teamwork, and work ethic

Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care in Epic EMR
• Float to other Medical Surgical units as required
• Participate in charge nurse duties when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional healthcare environment
