• Duration: 8-week contract
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts
• Hours: 32-40 hours per week (guaranteed 40 hours)
• Call: 1-2 nights per week; weekend/holiday rotation
• Setting: Two Operating Rooms, two Endoscopy suites
• Orientation: Onboarding and EPIC training provided in Fort Wayne, IN

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Indiana RN license or compact state nursing license
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room Circulator experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification through AHA
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification through AHA
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification through AHA
• Clinical proficiency in circulating multiple surgical service lines
• Experience in 2nd scrub and PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

• Circulate in diverse surgical procedures: General Surgery, Robotics (Davinci Platform), Orthopedics (Total Joint and Revisions), C-sections, GYN, Neuro/Spine, Podiatry, and Endoscopy (EGD/Colonoscopy)
• Utilize EPIC for clinical charting and medication administration
• Participate in call rotation (1-2 nights per week, weekends/holidays as scheduled)
• Float to PACU as needed if qualified
• Comply with hospital dress code: surgical scrubs, closed-toe wipeable shoes, head covering, and no loose jewelry or artificial nails in the OR
• Collaborate with Certified Surgical Technologists (CSTs) and SAU RNs to deliver optimal patient care
