• Location: Middlebury, VT 05753 (Vermont healthcare jobs)
• Assignment Length: 16 weeks (Start: 1/19/2026 – End: 5/11/2026)
• Shift: Day shifts, 4x10-hour (07:00 – 17:30), rotating weekly and weekend call
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
• Orientation: Bi-weekly on Mondays (next available: 1/19/2026)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending licenses considered)
• Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers)
• Experience with C-sections required
• Scrub nurse experience highly preferred; strong circulator accepted
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years (required)
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemption for flu only)
• Reliable personal or rental vehicle required (no public transportation; snow tires recommended November–April)
• Willingness to work every other weekend and 2 of 3 major holidays if scheduled

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients in the operating room
• Circulate and, if qualified, scrub for a variety of surgical procedures including C-sections
• Participate in rotating weekly and weekend call as scheduled
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical techs for optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Adapt to schedule changes to meet unit and patient care needs
• Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
