• Location: Kansas City, KS 66112
• Setting: Emergency Services Unit
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
• Start Date: January 5, 2026
• End Date: April 5, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Nursing Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Schedule: 1-2 weekends per 4-week schedule
• On-Site Nursing Position

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Emergency Room specialty preferred
• Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Ability to pass health screenings and background checks
• Completion of onboarding exams and checklists
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills

ER RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients with acute and urgent medical conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff
• Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical interventions
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment in accordance with hospital policies
