Job Details – PACU RN Travel Assignment
- Location: Foxborough Day Surgery Unit, Foxboro Patriot Place (Boston, MA area)
- Assignment Type: Travel Nursing Contract
- Start Date: January 26, 2026 (alternative start: January 12, 2026)
- End Date: April 26, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4x10 hour day shifts (07:00 AM – 05:30 PM), Monday–Friday
- No nights, weekends, or on-call required
- Free parking included
- Pay Rate: $95/hour (W2)
PACU RN Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Massachusetts RN license preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent PACU nurse or OR nurse experience in ambulatory or outpatient healthcare settings
- BLS certification required
- Ambulatory surgery experience required; OR nurses must have orthopedics, sports medicine, or outpatient experience
- Ability to start on 1/26/2026 or 1/12/2026
- Compliance with all onboarding health and background requirements
PACU Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the Day Surgery Unit
- Monitor patient recovery, assess vital signs, and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-operative care, discharge instructions, and recovery expectations
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation and uphold patient safety standards
